Auld Lang Syne, “for the sake of old times.” I love this song. New Year’s is one of my favorite holidays. There is no more hullabaloo and it finally feels calm; the calm after the storm. I have an affinity for calm and I appreciate new beginnings.
I am grateful for this time of nostalgia and reflection of the past year. I also feel hope in the anticipation of the year ahead, another new beginning. All parts of this journey are an important part of my process and they all of deserve an honoring of sorts.
I’ve been making space to grieve the goodbyes and the struggles that had me feeling down in the past year, some that still do.
I take time to cherish the moments that filled me with joy and connection.
I pause to honor the lessons I have learned.
I acknowledge the pillars of growth I am still working on.
I honor where I have been and set intentions of where I aspire to go.
I feel grateful for the state of mind and health to be present in all of this right now.
With love & gratitude,
